Building a retro-playful, gluten-free lifestyle brand from the ground up.

Context & Goals

No Crumb Club began as a personal initiative to make living gluten-free feel less stressful and more stylish.

The mission was to build a lifestyle brand that offered clarity, confidence, and practical support — without falling into the clinical, sterile look typical in GF spaces.

The goal from day one: create a warm, retro, joy-filled brand universe that empowers gluten-free people through tools, content, and thoughtful design.

The Challenge

The gluten-free world is saturated with two tones: overly medical or overly whimsical. Neither reflects the reality of adults navigating cross-contamination, eating out, or explaining their needs every single day.

No Crumb Club needed to bridge the gap — a brand that felt trustworthy and expressive, playful and grown-up.
And to get there, the entire brand had to be built from the ground up: identity, voice, packaging, kit design, and content system.

My approach

I treated No Crumb Club as a full lifestyle brand creation — built strategically, emotionally, and practically.

I started by grounding the brand in real lived experience: the friction points, the safety needs, the lack of stylish tools available, and the emotional weight of gluten-free life. From there, I shaped a cohesive brand world that offered both empowerment and practicality.

Defined the mission, voice, and personality to establish a brand rooted in confidence, clarity, and playful warmth.

Developed the full visual identity — logo direction, color palette, type, textures, and a retro warm-toned aesthetic.

Crafted all written messaging — from headlines to safety explanations to brand values — ensuring tone consistency.

Built a comprehensive brand book outlining visuals, voice, usage rules, and content direction.

Developed digital foundations including post templates, caption strategy, blog themes, and SEO-focused content direction.

Performed pricing and cost analysis to determine retail price, margins, and future promotional levers.

Impact & Reflection

The brand established a distinctive voice in the GF space — warm, retro, confident, and practical.

By designing each piece with purpose, No Crumb Club became a cohesive system rather than a collection of assets.

It also highlighted my ability to:
