About

Where to begin? I guess I should introduce myself.

Hi, my name is Natalie. I’m a Montreal based Graphic and UX Designer. I am also organized and process oriented, which has led me to my current role of Creative Resource Manager and Designer. With a background in creative, I’m well suited to understand what is needed to get a project done.

I realized my passion for design when I started writing in 2016. It started as a fashion blog, but quickly turned to beauty. Through this blog, I was able to write for Fashion Magazine and one of my photos was used by Vogue Brazil. I was able to work with brands like Chapters Indigo, Sephora, and Sports Experts. I co-founded a community of bloggers where they could collaborate, learn, and discuss the business side of the blogging industry.

While studying in the Graphic and Web Design program at John Abbott College, I realized that I really like making images and text work together, whether for print or web. A few achievements during the program include designing Town of Sainte Anne de Bellevue, in collaboration with the David Suzuki Foundation, as well as developing logos for a few clubs and event posters for various goings-on around campus.

After graduating from John Abbott College, I freelanced for a few months. In that time I have designed numerous logos, websites, certificates, and business cards. During my stage at Benjamin David Group, I also helped with client projects, such as branding, social assets, and ads. I met directly with clients on some projects. I also helped with the responsive redesign of their new website.

For the last three years, I have been working at a Montreal based marketing agency as a graphic designer and creative resource manager. As someone who is both creative and organized, this is a perfect combination for me.

Since I love learning new things, I decided to dip my toes into UX by doing an accelerated course at Concordia University. I was interested in pursuing UX because I wanted to know more about how users interact with designs. This course taught me a lot about user experiences, and I highly recommend reading through a few of my case studies.

Want to know more about me? I love colour and I adore spending time outdoors. I have a rescue dog and we love to go hiking. Agatha Christie is my favourite author, and lavender is my all-time favourite scent. I’m more sweet than savoury, but I fully believe Chicago Popcorn is the perfect combination of both.
